The Bat II team faced tough competition in Traverse City at the Cherry Bomb Tournament. Starting the day with an impressive win, marked by excellent ball movement and team play found the next round a bit more difficult. Facing older and more experienced teams found the Bats staying competitive with the games neck in neck. Not able to hang on to close games found the Bats struggling the remainder of the tournament. Passionate play by Piscitelli in the Bat Cage wasn't enough to marshal the victories. Going into the tournament play, it was anyone's tournament. Unfortunately the lacrosse gods weren't smiling on the Bats, however they did gain tremendous experience, exposure, and had a fun time. Egg fight and all.
Kroger Cards are now in and will be available at practice Tuesday.
